Aging in Place means choosing to remain in your home safely, comfortably, and independently for as long as possible, regardless of your age or ability. This often involves modifying your home to meet your current and future needs while improving safety, accessibility, and everyday convenience.

A CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) certification is awarded by the National Association of Home Builders. It recognizes professionals who are specially trained to help homeowners safely modify their homes so they can remain independent and age in place.

Yes. We professionally install grab bars in showers, tubs, and other areas throughout the home. We also help determine the safest placement based on your individual needs.

Yes. We install both custom treated lumber ramps and prefabricated aluminum ramps. We’ll help determine the best solution based on your home, budget, and accessibility needs.

Absolutely. We enjoy collaborating with adult children, family members, caregivers, occupational therapists, and other professionals. In our experience, the best solutions come from working together to understand each homeowner’s unique needs.

Yes. We provide a wide variety of accessibility modifications including wheelchair ramps, threshold removal, doorway widening, bathroom modifications, grab bars, handrails, and other improvements designed to help homeowners safely remain in their homes.

Yes. We can address your specific concerns or perform a comprehensive home safety assessment to identify potential hazards and recommend improvements that enhance safety, accessibility, and independence.

Most projects are completed with a written estimate so you know the cost before work begins.

For smaller projects, we have a two hour minimum service charge of $275. When a fixed estimate is not practical, such as for a large home punch list or an ongoing project where the scope may change, we may bill at a daily rate starting at approximately $1,200. If additional work is requested while we are already on site, additional labor is typically billed at $150 per hour.

Every project is unique, and pricing varies depending on the scope of work.

We primarily serve Rockville, Potomac, Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Chevy Chase, and the surrounding areas of West and South Montgomery County, Maryland.

For half day and full day projects, we often travel outside our primary service area.

Our business is intentionally focused on serving the local community so we can respond quickly, especially for seniors and returning customers.

Yes. We perform the majority of the work ourselves.

When a project requires a specialized trade such as electrical, plumbing, masonry, landscaping, flooring, roofing, or other specialty work, we bring in trusted subcontractors who regularly work with our company. Because these professionals focus on their specific trades every day, they consistently deliver exceptional quality.

As the general contractor, we coordinate the entire project and remain fully responsible for the quality of all work performed, whether it is completed by our team or one of our specialty subcontractors.

No! Our goal is to serve everyone. We work with homeowners of all ages and abilities, and no job is too small for us. Whether you need a simple repair, home maintenance, or larger improvement project, we’re here to help.
